Scuba tour operator, Dive Worldwide, has collected over £2,200 through client donations for Bite-Back in 2015. This latest charitable contribution brings the total raised by Dive Worldwide to a whopping £4,690 in just two years.

Manager for Dive Worldwide, Phil North, said: “We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the dive industry — not just in terms of delighted customers and awards — but in the way we act as an operator. That’s why we’ve chosen to contribute to marine conservation initiatives that make a real difference. Bite-Back is accomplishing some incredible work and we’re happy to fund its intelligent and courageous campaigns.”

Since 2013 Dive Worldwide and their clients have helped fund Bite-Back’s ongoing campaign to end the sale of shark fin soup in the UK and is now contributing to its programme to ban the 20kg personal import allowance of shark fins to Europe.

Campaign director for Bite-Back, Graham Buckingham, said: “Dive Worldwide stands out as a dive operator with integrity and passion for the marine environment. We’re very proud of our partnership and grateful to the whole team and its clients for funding our unique campaigns.”
